Alfred Wegner Question?

Okay I'm in Grade 9 - Highschool - taking Academic Geography. We are doing a project on Alfred Wegner, the man who created the theory of "Continental Drift". I was just wondering, does anyone know any significant people who DISAGREED with him during his time, not people who agreed? On google I can find a bunch of people who agreed with his theory, but I need to find siginificant people (other theorists, scien, geologists, not just random people) who disagree with his theory. I've been looking on google forever, anybody know any people who I'm trying to find?
