What do you find blasphemous and why is Blasphemy a problem??

It seems like to God (if he exists) a single person would be less significant than an ant to one of us--> wouldn't this be a case of "sticks and stones" multiplied to the Nth factor? Why would he care, and even if he did, why would he need his human followers to advocate for him?
