When sending my mcipt to an agent...?

I've read you shouldn't send a synopsis - only the work and a brief covering letter. You can buy reference books with listings for agents and the type of work they're interested in, as well as advice on what to send with your mcript. If you're in the UK, The Writer's Handbook 2009 is out now. If you're in the US, there's Writer's Market 2009, which is much the same. These are available from Amazon (.co.uk and .com respectively).
